MANDATORY MEDICAL CERTIFICATES FOR STUDENTS (1 or 2 year)
Students admitted to the degree programme in Medicine and Surgery have to upload on MyUnito copies of the following medical certificates along with other required registration documents:
- compulsory and recommended vaccinations:
- polio vaccine
- diphtheria vaccine
- tetanus vaccine
- hepatitis B vaccine
- measles vaccine
- rubella vaccine
During the preventive medical examination, antibody levels will be checked. Further serology tests and vaccinations will be carried out where needed. For varicella (chickenpox), the assessment will be based on your medical history and the outcome of the disease.
- tubercolin sensitivity test (Mantoux test) taken in the local ASL (Azienda Sanitaria Locale) or, alternatively, a QuantiFERON-TB blood test report
Only vaccine certificates in English or Italian will be accepted. If your vaccine certificate is in another language, you will need to provide a certified translation in English or Italian.
