Ucr@ina, insieme per conoscerci” (Ukraine, together to know each other)

Published: Monday, January 9, 2023

The call for applications for a 100-hour collaboration contract within the “Ucr@ina, insieme per conoscerci” (Ukraine, together to know each other) project has just been published.

The call for applications is open to students of Ukrainian and Italian nationality who are registered as full-time students on any year of any bachelor’s degree programme, master’s degree programme or postgraduate degree programme at the University of Turin. Students from any degree course active in academic year 2022/2023 may apply.

The activities consist of tutoring Ukrainian secondary school students, so as to help them learn the Italian language, offer support in their studies at the new host school, and, above all, facilitate their social integration in Italy.

The tutoring will be fully online and will last 10 weeks starting January 2023. Each tutor will be required to commit approximately 8 hours per week, devoting four hours to each student.

Before starting with the actual tutoring, each tutor will be required to attend a preliminary training session of approximately 10 hours (which are included in the 100 hours of the collaboration contract) to familiarise with the methodologies and technologies used in the project. These will take place online.

The project will entirely take place on Moodle at the following link: https://compitiacasa.i-learn.unito.it/.

Students can apply for a 100-hour, 150-hour or 200-hour collaboration contract, with a weekly commitment of 8, 12, 16 hours respectively.

For any questions, please write at compitiacasa@unito.it.

The application form is available on your MyUnito webpage. Click on the “Collaborazione 200 h” (200-hours collaboration activities) menu, then on “Registrazione” (registration). On the first page, you will have to select your “carriera attiva” (your current University registration). On the following page, go to the “Bandi nominali non ancora sottoscritti” section (Individual application not yet finalized), then click on “Sottoscrizione bando UCR@INA, INSIEME PER CONOSCERCI” (apply to the UCR@INA, INSIEME PER CONOSCERCI" call).

Online applications must be completed by 16 January 2023, 12:00 noon. No applications will be accepted after this date.

Please note that, if you choose to apply for other collaboration contracts, the total number of hours must not exceed 200 hours. Please also note that you must be registered at the University of Turin in the 2022–2023 academic year in order to apply.
