MedInTO Medicine and Surgery

The Fondazione Hospice Trentino Onlus charity has announced an award worth €1,000 for a
thesis in Medicine and Surgery on the topic of palliative care.

The goal of Fondazione is to stimulate research on palliative care, and encourage its use for
people who can benefit from it, either at home or in care homes, as mandated by Law 38/10,
which legislates on many questions related to chronic pain.

The award has been sponsored by the Italian Society of Palliative Care, the Order of Physicians,
Surgeons and Dentists of Trento and the Order of Nursing Professions of the Province of
Trento. The call for application is open to graduates of all universities in Italy.

Applications must be sent by 31 January 2024, to fondazionehospicetn@pec.tn.it
