Medical Internships
- Internships in ''area medica'' (medical area) and internships in ''area chirurgica'' (surgical area) may be done at the same time (one in the morning and one in the afternoon).
- Please also note that, for the purposes of the state exam, a total of 100 hours for each of the three medical internship areas – “area medica” (medicine), “area chirurgica” (surgery) and MMG (general medicine practitioner) – must be completed and validated by the relevant tutors.
- The booklet MUST be picked up before the start of internships and can be picked up only after taking ALL exams from the 1st to the 4th year included. To collect the booklet, you must take an appointment at the Student Administration Office and provide a signed and dated self-certification with examinations passed (available in MyUnito students).

Booking is mandatory. You must book your place on Moodle (tirocinio e tutorato clinico > prenotazione tirocini orbassano).
For Medical Internships of General Medicine Area you must book your place on Moodle (Tirocinio e tutorato clinico). The exact times and dates of the medical internships are agreed with the doctor after the booking
Once you have finished your Transitional Medical Internships in all the three areas (“area medica” (medicine), “area chirurgica” (surgery) and MMG (general medicine practitioner), and the internship record book is completed in all its parts, hand it in at the Student Administration Office (Segreteria Didattica) so that it can be registered.
