Course objectives
The goals of this course are to delineate the fundamentals of disease mechanisms and advanced therapeutic strategies in the management of SLE.
In detail:
1) relevant disease mechanisms in drug discovery
2) key immune checkpoints in SLE targeted by old and novel drugs
3) treat-to-target strategy in SLE: what is it and why we need it
4) patient stratification and personalized treatment
