The CIRSDe also offers this year (for the fifth consecutive edition), in the second semester, an Interdisciplinary Laboratory of gender studies of a methodological and multidisciplinary nature. This training course will be aimed at students of the University of Turin for three-year degree courses, single-cycle or magistral, which intend to approach gender issues and learn how the use of a gender perspective can enrich one's knowledge baggage. This year there are two different paths: - a first of a total of 12 meetings of 3 hours each, will be aimed at students and students from three-year degree programs and will allow them to acquire 3 or 6 CFU (depending on how many classes they intend to attend); - a second, a total of 6 meetings of 3 hours each, will be available, instead, for students and students of the master's degree and single-cycle degrees, allowing them to acquire 3 credits. For the purpose of conferring the credits, the participants will have to attend at least 80% of the planned hours of activity and will have to present a short final written report summarizing the content of one or more selected lessons or a proposed text in the bibliography by the teachers. The report will be evaluated by a committee of teachers of the laboratory. After a first meeting dedicated to an introduction on gender studies, the lessons of the workshops will cover the following subject areas: anthropology, law, linguistics, psychology, sociology, cinema, Anglo-American literature, medicine, history, semiotics, and will be held by teachers University of Turin; by scholars of other Italian universities; by experts in gender studies outside the University.
