-To deepen the pathophysiologic mechanisms underlying overweight and obesity and associated comorbidity.
To understand the mechanisms that control food intake and their possible involvement in obesity development.

First day: The neuroendocrin control of food intake and energy metabolism. Management of obesity: lifestyle changes;bariatric surgery; pharmacotherapy (currently approved drugs and current strategies for the development of new anti-obesity drugs).
Second day: Obesity and increased risk of associated diseases. Obstructive Sleep Apnea Sindrome.
