Learning assessment methods
Due to COVID, the Physics exams will be only oral (2020 June/July, September, December).
I very very strongly suggest you to sit it as soon as possible (June/July or, AT LATEST, September). It is important that you sit Physics before starting the second year, so that you can take advantage of the things we learn and that you will use in the other Courses. The sooner, the better!
Even if the exam modality has changed with respect to previous years, you must study the same way you would have done in our previous world, that is:
- study the Theory
- be sure to be able to apply Theory solving Exercises. See them on Moodle (activities, assignments, written tests of previous years).
During the oral exam, I will ask 3 questions (one of them on a subject chosen by you). The 3 questions will start describing things as usual (as an example, I might ask: ‘talk about Surface tension’) and during the oral I will necessarily understand how you can manage the use of formulae and mathematics at large (that is, how you would solve an exercise).
Any question, please send me an email: roberto.cirio@unito.it
