Course objectives

Provide the student with the methodological basis for approaching the patient with skin lesions and the basic principles for the diagnosis and differential diagnosis of the main skin diseases (clinical methodology, histology, dermoscopy)
    Introduce the student to the main skin diseases (from microorganisms, inflammatory / immune-mediated, oncological)
    Provide information on the principles of therapy for the most frequent skin diseases and news in the therapeutic field

    be able to know the methodology for diagnosing skin diseases and orienting oneself in the field of differential diagnostics
    Know the main skin diseases

Elementary lesions and methodology for a correct diagnosis

Skin diseases induced by micro-organisms: parasitosis, virosis, mycosis, bacterioss, sexually-transmitted diseases

Acnes, rosacea, seborrheic dermatitis

Inflammatory/immune-mediated dermatoses: psoriasis, eczema, lichen, pemphigus and pemphigoides, adverse drug reactions, urticaria and vasculitis, autoimmune connective tissue diseases

Onco-dermatology: nevi and melanoma, non melanoma skin cancers, other skin neoplasms, cutaneous lymphomas

Dermo-surgery and biopsies

Dermoscopy
