Course objectives
Understanding of pathophysiological events that undergo during the main human diseases, including metabolic diseases, inborn errors of metabolism and lipid disorders, as well as degenerative diseases and tumor-associated systemic disorders.

Students will achieve knowledge on fundamental mechanisms, clinical symptoms, consequences and complications associated with various pathophysiological conditions as well as of congenital disorders and hereditary diseases.

Learning assessment methods
Exam: oral exam (WebEx virtual room); the exam consists in 2-3 questions. Students will be invited by an email in which information on scheduled day and hour, and WebEx link, where students can access to the virtual room, will be given. Oral exams are public, so students who want to listen the exam can connect to the virtual room.
The final mark is expressed in thirtieths.
