Course objectives

The objectives of the ADE "Systemic vasculitis – new diagnostic and therapeutic perspectives" contribute to the attainment of the educational goal within the Medicine and Surgery curriculum. This course provides students with the latest knowledge on the diagnosis and therapy of systemic vasculitis.

Results of learning outcomes

At the end of the course, students will be able to understand the main therapeutic and diagnostic innovations in systemic vasculitis.

• giant cell artheritis;
• ANCA-associated vasculitis;
• Anti-Glomerular Basement Membrane disease;
• Takayasu arteritis;
• Behcet diseas;
• IgG4 related disease;
• Kawasaki disease;
• IgA vasculitis;
• Cryoglobulinemic vasculitis;
• VEXAS Syndrome

Course delivery

The ADE “Systemic vasculitis – new diagnostic and therapeutic perspectives” will be delivered through presentations, videos, and interactive clinical cases.

Learning assessment methods

Interactive clinical cases will be discussed, focusing on various clinical issues and their respective problem solutions.
