Task force for inclusiveness and diversity
In order to provide an inclusive study and work environment for everyone irrespective of sexual orientation, nationality, or religious and political persuasions, the university has appointed a confidential counselor (Consigliera di Fiducia), attorney Elena Bigotti, whose institutional role is to freely provide information, counsel, and assistance to everyone within the university community – teaching and research staff, admin staff, contracted workers and students – who feel they might have been subject to discrimination or harassment of any form.
The task force for inclusiveness and diversity is committed to provide support for both the Department of Clinical and Biological Sciences and the Department of Oncology. The committee is formed of an equal number of teaching staff members and students. Anyone who feels they have been a victim, or witness, of discrimination or harassment occurring within the university premises can get in touch with members of the task force, who all guarantee strict confidentiality when addressing the situation at hand.
Even in cases when you are unsure about possible discrimination or harassment, do get in touch with one of the committee members.
