Course objectives

This module will provide a foundation in knowledge and skills necessary for medical students to recognize the most important medical problems and to construct clinical reasoning models in the field of clinical immunology.

Clinical Immunology

  • Allergic diseases (including Extrinsic allergic alveolitis).
  • Immunodeficiencies.
  • Complements defects.
  • Phagocyte deficiencies and basophils/eosinophils diseases.
  • Sarcoidosis.
  • Idiopathic lung fibrosis.
  • Oncoimmunology.
  • Drug hypersensitivity.
  • Glucocorticoids, immunoglobulin-therapy and immunomodulating drugs.
